Participants will be eligible for 2.0 Continuing Coach Education Units from the ICF.
Alana Peters-Toews is a facilitator, coach, and educator. She is principal of ‘Now’s the Time Executive Coaching’. Whether teaching or coaching, she is committed to creating an atmosphere of trust to maximize potential for her students or clients.
Alana is a Certified Daring Way Facilitator ™ and is qualified to deliver cutting edge, research based material created by Dr. Brené Brown. She is a graduate of the University of Regina with a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Education.
She also graduated from Royal Roads University with her Master’s Certificate in Executive Coaching. In this interactive Daring Way™ workshop you will look at trust, based on the research and methodology developed by Dr. Brené Brown.
In this two hour workshop you will:
- Look at why trust is important
- Learn what trust is…. and what it isn’t
- Explore how trust is built
- Identify specific trust building behaviours and actions specific to you
- Examine the seven elements of trust
- Explore the relationship between trust and vulnerability
- Learn the myths of vulnerability
