Join Amanda Knight on Thursday April 5 in an interactive workshop that will share how you can help your clients ‘stand up’ and ‘speak up’ so that they are respected and heard, and can co-create powerful, positive relationships at home and at work.

In this interactive, educational session, Amanda shares how you can support your clients to step fully into their personal power with love, strength and elegance to bring peace, joy and inspiration into their homes, their workplaces, and the world.

The vehicle we will be exploring to enable the openness, clarity and self accountability required to communicate in this way is the Ego State model prescribed through the psychotherapeutic framework of Transactional Analysis.

You will discover:

  • what we mean by ‘Adult’ as a relational and communication pattern
  • how to use the ego states to identify your coachees’ likely relational patterns and to support them in getting back to Adult
  • how the ego states can be mapped on to Karpman’s Drama Triangle to provide a deeper self awareness
  • flags to watch for when communicating as a coach – becoming aware of the ‘Pseudo Adult’ relational pattern

About Amanda Knight

Amanda Knight is a British thought leader on emotional intelligence, leadership, and organizational culture, now living in Alberta, Canada.  Co-author of ‘Applied EI’ published by Wiley in 2006, she is also the designer and proprietary owner of The SRQ – an online assessment and development tool powered by a new level of emotional intelligence that helps individuals explore their ability to truly connect and influence.

Amanda is passionate about creating great workplace cultures by helping leaders recognize that leadership is a privilege, not a right.  Changing this fundamental attitude enables leaders to transform the way they show up, how others experience them, and how they can then influence the people they lead to be the best they can be.

Latterly, her work in Canada has brought her back to the corporate environment where she has held senior organizational development roles in HR.  Working from the inside, she has been able to influence the build of heart-centered people systems and processes, and deliver powerful leadership programming to transform the employee experience, and build a powerful high-trust workplace culture.
